Cardiac arrhythmia / Sleep apnea

Sleep apnea causes resistance in the upper airway, limiting ventilation, oxygenation, and air intake to our body. This has been scientifically proven to cause stress on your cardiovascular system and can therefore cause hypertension (high blood pressure), cardiac arrhythmias (abnormal heartbeats), etc.

Stroke and snoring

In addition to reduced oxygen intake, snoring often increases carbon dioxide retention. These two symptoms cause stress on the brain's blood vessels, making you more prone to a stroke.

Sleep initiation insomnia

It is when a person is ready to fall asleep but for some reason cannot fall asleep.

There are many causes that can cause this type of insomnia and it is best to see a specialist.

Maintenance insomnia

It is when there is difficulty maintaining sleep throughout the night. This type of insomnia can manifest with frequent awakenings or with the inability to fall back asleep after waking up.

Sleep paralysis

Sleep paralysis is a condition in which you are unable to move or speak, sometimes this is accompanied by a black shadow or unpleasant feeling, hardly falling asleep or waking up. During a sleep paralysis episode you are fully aware of what is happening.

Recurrent Nightmares

Repeated nightmares may be a sign of sleep disordered breathing (sleep apnea) or post-traumatic stress disorder that can occur after seeing or experiencing a traumatic event involving injury or threatened death.

Snoring / Sleep apnea

Sleep apnea is a disorder that occurs while sleeping. This is potentially serious especially when breathing stops and starts repeatedly. If you snore and feel tired after a full night's sleep, you may have sleep apnea.

Excessive sleep / Chronic fatigue

The average adult requires 7-7.5 hours of sleep per night. If you require more hours or do not want to get up and feel low energy, fatigue, or have difficulty doing your work at work. It is important that a specialist evaluate if something is affecting your sleep and other frequent fatigue conditions.

Restless and non-refreshing sleep

Las principales causas que llevan a que el sueño no sea reparador e inquieto son: Estrés, ansiedad, depresión, trastorno del movimiento periódico de las extremidades, cierre de la vía aérea superior, etc.
